About Us
MISSION OF THE TRUST
The Trust is committed to pursuing Knowledge
and understanding of the Holy Quran and attaining
secular and professional education to help the
unfortunate and dispossessed fellow human beings
to live a better quality life.
This mission is achieved through the various
programmes and activities.
PROGRAMMES / CHARITABLE SERVICES
Members, associates and the community at large
make financial contributions through Zakaat and
General Donations and the Trust holds an Annual
Eid Dinner to generate funds for its charity
programmes as follows:
• Medical assistance
• Charitable donations
• Family life counseling
• Marriage counseling
• Spiritual and parapsychology counseling
• Education and library services
• Business and general consultation
These programmes are defined as follows:
Medical Assistance
Financial assistance for medicals, surgery etc. The
provision of medical aids (wheelchairs, walkers, clutches, commodes, etc.) all free of charge.
Charity
Charity is directed to the refurbishing and
building of homes, hospitals, religious and
community service organizations. Donations
are forwarded to International disaster
and relief organizations due to Natural disasters.
Hampers are provided monthly to families
throughout Trinidad.
Counseling
Family, marriage and general counseling is
conducted on Thursdays and Fridays from
3.30 PM at the Trust H/Q, Dow Village.
Education
As a FBO, the Trust manages the Hanifa Aziz
Nursery School, an Early Childhood Education
Centre at Macaulay Park West, California.
This is a Servol/ Government registered and
assisted institution and a minimal school fee
is required. Scholarships are offered at the
tertiary and higher academic levels as
needed as well as financial assistance for
books and uniforms.
Islamic Dawah
Lectures, articles and books on Islamic guidance
and value systems are published and distributed
to the public.
